The Princess is a Tart
I went shopping today after taking the kids to school and came home to find a few workmen standing outside my garden going all mushy over our puppy (well 2 year old puppy) Moniack who was leaning out the upstairs window wuffing at them. All I could hear was "ooh aren't you gorgeous, oh you are just so cute" etc, etc and of course she is all "snuffle, wuff" back at them. She is Ad's spoilt not-so-little princess ((cross german shepherd/rotweiler)) and very cute with it. Current Mood: amused | | Tuesday, October 31st, 2006 | | 1:58 pm |

Hmmm
Kermit the Frog You scored 60% Organization, 38% abstract, and 67% extroverted! |
This test measured 3 variables.
First, this test measured how organized you are. Some muppets like Cookie Monster make big messes, while others like Bert are quite anal about things being clean.
Second, this test measured if you prefer a concrete or an abstract viewpoint. For the purposes of this test, concrete people are considered to gravitate more to mathematical and logical approaches, whereas abstract people are more the dreamers and artistic type.
Third, this test measured if you are more of an introvert or an extrovert. By definition, an introvert concentrates more on herself and an extrovert focuses more on others. In this test an introvert was somebody that either tends to spend more time alone or thinks more about herself.
You are mostly organized, both concrete and abstract, and more extroverted.
Here is why are you Kermit the Frog.
You are both somewhat organized. You have a good idea where you put things and you probably keep your place reasonably clean. You aren't totally obsessed with neatness though. Kermit is also reasonably tidy. He'll even dress up for interviews.
You both are sometimes concrete and sometimes abstract thinkers. Kermit spends a lot of his time as a reporter collecting facts, but he is also the author of the dreamy song "The Rainbow Connection." You have a good balance in your life. You know when to be logical at times, but you also aren't afraid to explore your dreams and desires... within limits of course.
You are both extroverts. Kermit gets along with everyone. Sure a few folks annoy him, but that's just because they are annoying. Kermit likes to meet new people when he does his job as a street reporter. You definitely enjoy the company of others, and you don't have problems meeting new people... in fact you probably look forward to it. You are willing to take charge when necessary or work as part of a team.
Oh, and in case you were wondering, Kermit starred on Sesame Street years before The Muppet Show.
The other possible characters are Oscar the Grouch Big Bird Snuffleupagus Ernie Elmo Cookie Monster Grover The Count Guy Smiley Bert
If you enjoyed this test, I would love the feedback! Also if you want to tell me your favorite Sesame Street character, I can total them up and post them here. Perhaps your choice will win! |

Moot and Hospital Visiting
Well the moot has came and gone as did a few of the faction specials. I had a great time, no drops, no deaths, survived 2 rituals, only a crushed wrist to speak of and a visit to first aid followed by a visit to derbyshire royal infirmiry. The crushed wrist happened because the battle with the empire took an unexpected turn and seemed to herd a lot of tarantula's into the guy ropes of the big IC tents by way of mass fear etc. My wrist ended up against Rich's armour and 4 bodies crushing up against it and that was me trying to keep out of the way. The hospital visit resulted in x-rays to make sure the bone graft and the screw were fine, thankfully they were, a sling was given to me to wear to rest my hand to let the swelling go down and painkillers which resulted in a great nights sleep on saturday night. I got to mourn Dorlant "bloody idiot charging off and getting himself killed" but being Dorlant he did it in style taking 6 battle mages and 1 dragon knight with him for company. The weather was great, a little too hot at times possibly especially under all the black ;-p All in all a good long weekend. Most of all of our kit is washed and looking forward to the Gathering now. | | Wednesday, May 31st, 2006 | | 5:31 pm |
Free
No more casts. Was at the clinic today and got my cast off. My bone graft is screwed inside the bone so dont need a second cast, so only 13 days in plaster. I have a special slint thing to wear but have to start mobilising my hand within a comfort zone, eg no hurting myself doing the exercises. Might even be back driving in a couple of weeks, as long as its not painful. All I want now is Ad's appointment tommorrow to be as succesful as mine was today. | | Sunday, May 21st, 2006 | | 10:30 am |
Slow Update
Got home from the hospital on friday night. I had an amusing experiance in hospital. I was given a nerve block into my shoulder during the op which took about 20 hours to wear off. During the time it was working however my arm felt like it was made of rubber. I had to hold it up or it just slid downwards. I had to wear a huge padded sling which was hanging from a dripstand so my arm was kept vertical to prevent swelling and to help the nerve block wear off. Trying to sleep like that was akward. When the block wore off was when the pain came back. Anyway I am home and trying to type with my left hand which takes time. My right arm is in a sling and a plaster cast. Makes eating fun. My mum arrives tomorrow and am looking forward to that. | | Wednesday, May 17th, 2006 | | 7:39 pm |
12 Hours and Counting
All seems to be go for tomorrow morning. I have to be at the hospital at 7.30am for my wrist op finally. The operation consists of a bone transplant from my hip into my wrist/hand. I will be in a heavy plaster cast for 10 - 14 days then will need to get the cast cut off to get my stitches out then back into a lighter weight cast for another 6 weeks. Then a month-ish of physio till I build the strength in my hand back. No driving for at least 2 months so will be walking everywhere. And no dragging Adam shopping to asda as he hates that ;-p So enjoy the Heartlands for those of you who Larp and I will hopefully see you at the tarantula moot/Gathering. And as I wont be at the Heartlands I will get to see Screaming Banshee Aircrew who are brill at Blackmachine in the Portman on 27th of this month. Nisa looking forward to seeing you next month. | | Tuesday, April 25th, 2006 | | 10:55 pm |
Sod's Law
My kids had a bad stomach virus over the weekend and guess who caught it today, yes me, so bearing in mind you are not allowed in the hospital for 48 hours after sickness etc I called the admissions desk and they decided to postpone my operation for luckily only another 3 weeks. So all the getting ready for thurday is up in the air now. I have another 3 weeks to stew over it. The timing also means no larp ((Heartland Games)) for me.. I dont think going camping a week after a bone transplant is a good idea. I also have a worried boyfriend to look after but hopefully we will know more about that on thursday, so maybe it is a good thing I was sick today as it means I can concentrate on him now. | | Thursday, April 13th, 2006 | | 9:55 pm |
Lots Of Things.
Finally had my pre-op checks yesterday and everything is fine for my op on 27th of this month. My wrist will finally be fixed after 16 months. The operation will consist of getting bone taken from my hip to replace the bone in my hand that has been eaten by a cyst. There may possibly be a pin also but the surgeon will decide that when he "gets in there" as he put it. With a bit of luck I should only be in till the next day, 2 days at most. Poor Inky, my mother is coming down to -help out- Then I have 2 months in plaster followed by a month of physio. The plaster thing kinda helped me make my mind up about something. At the Heartland Games, I decided to put my name down to be faction security for the Tarantula's that way I can still do something instead of being ooc/non-com all the time. As long as I get shopping time I dont mind. So no drow for me till the Gathering. | | 9:52 pm |

Last Few Days
My batday (birthday) was on the 23rd. It started well and just got so much better culminating in a meal with the kids and Inky at his parents hotel. Inky covered my eyes at the resturant doors and walked me to the table. When I could look it was brilliant. He had got this huge ice sculpture of a bat with its wings outspread made for me. All round it were lots of little bat soft toys (which Silven had been collecting for him so i wouldn't see them). The menus also had bats on them. His parents gave me a bottle of pink champagne which was duly poured through the top of the bats head and it came pouring out of its mouth into your glass or your mouth, whichever you prefered. The meal was fantastic. We were joined by his Nan and her partner. Inky's mum also kept popping through and Silvren came up a little later. Xmas eve was nice, the kids were getting all excited about xmas and I was still over the moon from such a lovely birthday. Xmas day was lovely even if I had to end up wakening the kids about 9am instead of the usual them wakening us about 6am. Thay loved all their gifts. We had xmas dinner with Inky's family, it is the largest xmas dinner I have been to and that was only a tiny part of his family. So all in all it has been a wonderful few days. If I can shrink a picture of the ice bat I will put it up. Hope you all had a great time also. Ffy. x | | Tuesday, December 20th, 2005 | | 2:42 pm |
Quiz
You are The LoversMotive, power, and action, arising from Inspiration and Impulse. The Lovers represents intuition and inspiration. Very often a choice needs to be made. Originally, this card was called just LOVE. And that's actually more apt than "Lovers." Love follows in this sequence of growth and maturity. And, coming after the Emperor, who is about control, it is a radical change in perspective. LOVE is a force that makes you choose and decide for reasons you often can't understand; it makes you surrender control to a higher power. And that is what this card is all about. Finding something or someone who is so much a part of yourself, so perfectly attuned to you and you to them, that you cannot, dare not resist. This card indicates that the you have or will come across a person, career, challenge or thing that you will fall in love with. You will know instinctively that you must have this, even if it means diverging from your chosen path. No matter the difficulties, without it you will never be complete. What Tarot Card are You?
